DESCRIPTION:Caregiver burden is presented regarding the spouse or life partner of a person with dementia. Often overlooked by healthcare professionals\, the caregiver spouse or life partner becomes the forgotten patient. The risks associated with caregiver burden\, assessment strategies\, and overall care partner needs will be discussed.  \nThis virtual training session for SHS Family Caregivers will be run by Tammy Pozerycki\, Owner\, Educator\, and Consultant at Alternatives in Alzheimer’s Care.
