DESCRIPTION:——————————————————–\n\n\nPlease join us on Wednesday\, December 7\nfor Seniors Helping Seniors of Greater Boston and Metrowest’s\nannual holiday party celebrating our collective accomplishments\nof 2022! Come and enjoy food\, drink and merriment\nwith your SHS colleagues! \nSHS Annual Holiday Party\nWednesday\, December 7\n6 – 9 p.m. \nTaproom at Belkin Family Lookout Farm\n89 Pleasant Street ~ Natick\n \nEntertainment by Rob Klein \nDress: Festive \nThe holiday party is optional (no compensation if you attend).\nIf you are scheduled to work and would like to attend\,  you must contact your client’s point person in our office as soon as possible; every effort will be made\nto find coverage or adjust your shift time. \n \nAdvance registration is required by using the RSVP link below.\nYou may bring one guest if you’d like but we must know in advance\nso that we have an accurate count for the food order.\nIf you are attending alone\, put “1” in the box that asks for the number of guests.\nIf you are bringing a guest\, put “2” in the box that asks for the number of guests\, indicating the RSVP is for you and one guest. \nClick here for directions from your location\n\n \nHoliday Giving Tree\nIn our effort to give back to the community\, we invite you to participate\nin our optional “Holiday Giving Tree” to collect items for the\nGuardianship Program at Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS).  \nIndividuals served by the program are people in the community who are no longer able to care for themselves in one or more major life capacities or have been victimized (financial\, psychological\, physical) and lack mental ability to protect themselves requiring legal intervention. The Guardianship Program is able to step in to ensure person-centered services are provided in the least restrictive manner. The program’s clients are on fixed incomes and have minimal funds to purchase items they need or that simply bring an extra smile.   \nParticipation in the Holiday Giving Tree is optional. If you would like to contribute\, please see the list of requested items below and bring your item(s) when you come to the party on December 7th. All items should be new and\nin their original packaging\, unwrapped. \nFidget toys\nAdult coloring books with crayons/pencils/water colors\nArts and craft supplies that are easy to use – non-toxic\nPersonal needs items (lotions\, soaps\, deodorant\, Vaseline\, chapstick\, make-up)\nFood items/treats such as chocolate\, cookies\, or anything yummy\nPersonal radio/alarm clocks\nSweaters/sweatshirts/shawls that are easy to put on; various sizes from small – 3x\nAny cozy items\, such as fuzzy socks\, soft blankets\, neck warmers for indoors\nGift cards to Walgreens/CVS \n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nWe look forward to seeing you on December 7th!

DESCRIPTION:As caregivers\, we are often faced with challenging and emotional situations where some support from our peers can make a big difference.
