Seniors Helping Seniors® of Greater Boston has experienced many exciting changes this fall. Our community of caregivers continues to grow and we have been involved in local initiatives that are taking place to support the growing number of seniors in our area. Many of our caregivers joined Team SHS to participate in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Boston. It was an amazing event and as a team we raised thousands of dollars that will go towards programs to support individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and research to help find a cure.
This cause is especially important to SHS as we serve many families, individuals, and health care workers who are heavily impacted by Alzheimer’s Disease. Thank you to our wonderful team who helped us surpass our fundraising goals!
