• For all those past, present and future, who have lived with, are living with or will live with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias
  • For those newly diagnosed & those soon to be diagnosed so that we can provide the information, resources support and hope as they face the challenges that Alzheimer’s present
  • To draw attention to the alarming number of people newly being diagnosed with dementia
  • For all the loved ones who are living everyday with the changes & challenges of Alzheimer’s  disease
  • To help relieve the sense of isolation, darkness, loneliness and depression that Alzheimer’s  can bring to those affected and their loved ones
  • For all the caregivers who are doing their best to normalize the daily lives of those living with Alzheimer’s  & other dementias
  • For every minute that there is no new Alzheimer’s  diagnosis made
  • For memories gone and brilliance lost
  • For all the volunteers participating in clinical  trials
  • To acknowledge all the incredible research and education to find a cure
  •  For strength to carry on when the person we know so well & love is not that same person
  • To raise awareness & promote better education about Alzheimer’s disease & other dementias
  • To advocate for a better understanding of Dementia within the Healthcare community, who serve those living with dementia, outside of the Dementia realm 
  • To raise funds for research to develop new methods of detection, new treatments and new links to the disease
  • For our legislators,  who are battling to represent the Alzheimer’s  community, to keep it in the forefront and support  our mission
  • For Hope, Discovery and Support
  • For all the researchers,  those in the medical community & pharmaceutical  companies, who are committed to finding a cure
  • For all who Walk with us to let them know  we can and do make a difference in the  lives of  those living with Alzheimer’s 
  • Love that is never lost
  • So that future generations will think of Alzheimer’s  as a disease of the past
  • To convey respect, empathy and support to the Alzheimer community
  • As a platform for stories to be shared
  • For those brief moments of clarity in what is now a world of blurred confusion & loss in those living with dementia
  • As a wake-up call that draws attention to our own communities and the whole world about the devastation of and increased occurrence of dementias and the urgent need for a cure
  • To celebrate the lives of those living with Alzheimer’s disease & other dementias
  • To end the stigma of an Alzheimer’s Diagnosis
  • For all of our committee members whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s,  but especially those who have recently lost loved ones to the disease
  • With determination and resolution to find a cure
  • As a reminder that Alzheimer’s affects all people.   
  • To dispel all the myths associated  with Dementias 
  • For the Alzheimer’s Association, a beacon to those living with the disease & their loved ones, so that they can continue their incredible work

  • Hoping we can soon raise the white flower of a cure and declare survivors
  • To showcase the relentless determination that we have to fight the devastation of Alzheimer’s disease
  • To advocate for change in the perception of Alzheimer’s disease

  • For the long silences & distant stares where once meaningful conversations & memories began
  • For all the tears shed because of Alzheimer’s disease and all the anguish for both those affected and their loved ones
  • To preserve & protect the dignity & rights of those living with dementia
  • For loved ones living with the fear & anguish that they may also be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s  disease
