Caregiver Connect & Share – SHS Employees

Facilitated by Client Care Specialist Sue Ann Wasserman, Caregiver Connect & Share is an opportunity for caregivers to share, listen and learn with and from each other in a positive and caring environment. It’s a safe place for caregivers to share their experiences and feelings about their work and be supported by each other. Caregivers who have worked for SHS for two months to 10 years attend the Caregiver Chat. Topics that have been discussed are: dealing with your feelings around client loss, help finding new activities to engage your client and asking for feedback on ways to respond to client’s resistance. It’s also a chance to talk about the joy that comes from this work. Come and share or just listen. Come meet fellow Caregivers, support one another and learn from one another.
