for Seniors Helping Seniors of Greater Boston and Metrowest’s
annual holiday party celebrating our collective accomplishments
of 2022! Come and enjoy food, drink and merriment
with your SHS colleagues!

The holiday party is optional (no compensation if you attend).
If you are scheduled to work and would like to attend,  you must contact your client’s point person in our office as soon as possible; every effort will be made
to find coverage or adjust your shift time. 

Advance registration is required by using the RSVP link below.
You may bring one guest if you’d like but we must know in advance
so that we have an accurate count for the food order.
If you are attending alone, put “1” in the box that asks for the number of guests.
If you are bringing a guest, put “2” in the box that asks for the number of guests, indicating the RSVP is for you and one guest.

Holiday Giving Tree
In our effort to give back to the community, we invite you to participate
in our optional “Holiday Giving Tree” to collect items for the
Guardianship Program at Jewish Family & Children’s Service (JF&CS). 

Individuals served by the program are people in the community who are no longer able to care for themselves in one or more major life capacities or have been victimized (financial, psychological, physical) and lack mental ability to protect themselves requiring legal intervention. The Guardianship Program is able to step in to ensure person-centered services are provided in the least restrictive manner. The program’s clients are on fixed incomes and have minimal funds to purchase items they need or that simply bring an extra smile.  

Participation in the Holiday Giving Tree is optional. If you would like to contribute, please see the list of requested items below and bring your item(s) when you come to the party on December 7th. All items should be new and
in their original packaging, unwrapped.

Fidget toys
Adult coloring books with crayons/pencils/water colors
Arts and craft supplies that are easy to use – non-toxic
Personal needs items (lotions, soaps, deodorant, Vaseline, chapstick, make-up)
Food items/treats such as chocolate, cookies, or anything yummy
Personal radio/alarm clocks
Sweaters/sweatshirts/shawls that are easy to put on; various sizes from small – 3x
Any cozy items, such as fuzzy socks, soft blankets, neck warmers for indoors
Gift cards to Walgreens/CVS
